Harri Heroes
Harri Hero is the Harrington Street mascot, and he’s here to remind students how to be safe, respectful learners. You’ll find Harri Hero around the school, and he has put up some signs to remind students of expected behaviour in each part of our school.
How to be a Harri Hero
Students at Harrington Street Public School are rewarded for being safe, respectful learners, through our HSPS Award System.
They are encouraged to collect four white certificates and then bring them to the front office and trade them in for a blue certificate. When they have two blue certificates, they can trade them in for a banner. Finally, when they’ve collected four banners they can exchange them for a medal.
Medals are presented to students during Monday morning assemblies in Week 5 and Week 10 of each term.
